HERBERTS Solvent-Based Adhesives
We offer 2-component SOLVENT BASED adhesives from general to high performance including reverse chemistry method that are very versatile, easy to handle and fast curing. They are designed to withstand high heat resistance, rigors of retort, sterilization applications, etc. Wherever necessary and deliver exceptional performance tolerating the most aggressive ingredients. From film-film, film-foil lamination with higher bond strength, low solvent retention & good wetting. Thus all the necessary requirements are met.
HERBERTS Solvent-free adhesives
We also offer a range of SOLVENT FREE products both single & 2 component systems that are specially designed to provide an environmentally-friendly, High Quality Adhesive for production at high speed in accordance with the latest food regulations. Film-to-film and film-to-metallized film for candy, salty snacks, bakery, meat and cheese packaging, all your applications are covered with our range of adhesive products from general to high-performance.
Cold Seal Coatings
BOSTIK has been a pioneer in Cold seal technology and is the leading supplier globally. BOSTIK’s cold seal (under the Turbo-Seal ® brand) is high-performance, sustainable and designed to improve your product’s performance and operational efficiencies. We have got the following varieties.
- For Monolayer application
- For Laminates application.
The cold seal line combines natural rubber latex with proprietary synthetic emulsions and polymers for high-performance sealing. It allows conversion at higher speeds to reduce the chances of streaking, ghosting and foaming which allows faster processing and less waste.
From applications in the food packaging (baked goods, frozen treats, confectionery items, granola bars, cereal bars, coffee packaging) to the medical packaging (pharmaceutical packaging applications, sterilizable and non-sterilizable overwraps for bandages, medical devices…) BOSTIK has a Cold Seal solution for you.
Footwear Adhesives
We also cater to the foot-wear industry with a comprehensive range of products which are used in all stages of process:
Water Based Adhesive systems: We offer water-based PU (polyurethane) adhesives which are VOC and REACH compliant. Those adhesives are eco-friendly and have a high green and final bond strength, non-yellowing and hydrolysis resistance properties. They have an excellent anchorage and long pot life. We also offer water-based CR (chloroprene rubber) adhesive which are VOC compliant and offer a superior heat resistance. Those adhesives are available both as spray able and brush able methods.
Solvent Based Adhesive systems: We offer a wide range of solvent based PU (polyurethane) adhesives suiting any application and desired bonding properties. With a wide range of viscosities, they are suitable to cover a wide range of substrates and processes. Those grades are REACH and VOC complaint and toluene free grades can be offered. We also offer a wide range of synthetic rubber adhesive for all types of application. With a wide viscosity range available they have good tack and bond strengths and toluene free grades are available.
Where applicable our products are combined to primers and adhesion promoters acting as a bridge between the adhesives and the substrates. A wide range is available to cater to all your substrates needs.
Cleaners: We offer a wide range of cleaners for all types of soles and uppers allowing the removal of any contamination and thereby improving the wetting.
Curing Agents : Our range of curing agent (including non-yellowing products) help to improve the bond strength, heat and chemical resistance of the adhesive system
Hot Melts: Hot Melts are used in the foot wear industry for upper and socks and our range completes our foot wear system.
